The Georgia Power Company is an electric utility headquartered in Atlanta. This collection contains company periodicals, publications targeted at homemakers, and miscellaneous documents.
Charles A. Rowland IV collection
Charles A. Rowland IV was a local historian, antique appraiser and historic preservationist. He was involved with zoning and neighborhood preservation issues. Mr. Rowland passed away in 2006 and his daughter donated all materials to the ACCL Heritage Room.
State Normal School and Navy Supply Corps School collection
Photographs, student and classroom materials, clippings, administrative materials, and other documents from the Georgia State Normal School (later renamed the Georgia State Teachers College) and the Navy School Supply Corps School; in addition, documents from the Navy Supply Corps School Local Redevelopment Authority, including complete copies of proposals for reuse of the property upon the closure of the Navy School.

Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library Referendum collection
The Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library is a 501c(3) group non-profit organization that benefits the Athens-Clarke County library system. The Athens-Clarke County Library was included on the Special Option sales tax referendum in 1988, which the Friends of the Library supported through public programs designed to encourage library patrons and Athens-Clarke residents to vote in favor of approving the referendum.
Women's Auxiliary to the Medical Association of Clarke County collection
Meeting minutes, correspondence, and other documents pertaining to the Women's Auxiliary to the Medical Association of Clarke County. Several references to Crawford W. Long are included.

Records, publications, directories, scrapbooks, and other materials pertaining to the Athens Area Retired Educators Association.
Millie Dearing collection
This collection consists of a scrapbook kept by Mildred “Millie” Lyle Dearing describing her work with the Athens Art Association and the Georgia Museum of Art. Included in the scrapbook are newspaper clippings and other paper materials related to her own artistic endeavors, and her work with Athens Art and Georgia Museum of Art. This collection also includes photographs of Dearing from 1963 and an example of a wedding invitation she designed.
Beusse Family collection
Photographs, notebooks, correspondence, and miscellaneous other items from the Beusse Family, most of all Lena Beusse, wife of Henry W. Beusse, an Athens Chief of Police who was the son of Henry Beusse, a German immigrant who became a major political and commercial leader in Athens during the late nineteenth century.
Gayther Plummer collection
This collection mostly pertains to Gayther Plummer's work as a climatologist, including soil surveys, as well as two folders of materials relating to his work with the Georgia Heritage Trust.

Towards a History of Athens collection
This collection apparently contains materials intended for a project entitled, Towards a History of Athens, Georgia. The provenance of the collection is uncertain. Given its small size, its original compiler may have intended to include other materials.
Ethel T. Chaffin papers
The collection contains materials donated by Athens resident Ethel T. Chaffin who earned a Master of Arts degree at the University of Georgia in dance and theatre history in 1982 and contributed heavily to the work of the Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation. Includes her thesis notes and research on Athens theatrical history and preservation of local landmarks, including Seney-Stovall Chapel.
